About Me

Impacts and Experience

In terms of Toolsets and Proficiency

Through programming games and modding others, I have become experienced in using engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, GameMaker Studio 2, Pico-8, Danmakufu, and Inform 7. You can see some of the games I've programmed for here*Hypertext later

Adobe Animate has been my learning tool for 2D animation, and MAYA has been my tool for 3D modeling and 3D animation. 2D animations 3D animations 3D models

Communication is something I highly value in my toolset. Understanding and articulating what should be the goal and what needs to be done to acomplish such, is something that has made development journeys bearable.

Writings and Wrestling

If game development failed to beat the need for communication into my brain, the streaming product I co-wrote/produced certainly did. For 31 weeks I co-wrote and produced a streamer's videogame wrestling league where the community created their own wrestlers and gave directions to where they wanted to go/do to. It was the job of the streamer, four others, and I, to gather their input, and create matchcards, fueds, and storylines together. Then we would have a team of recorders and editors(which included me) that would simulate the match that would get us where we needed to go. Every wednesday and saturday a 3-8 hour show would be aired live to 200+ viewers and ultimately it is one of the things I am most proud of to have played a part in producing.

Mechs and Metal

You'll see in my portfolio the passion I have for mecha. I absolutely adore Mobile Suit Gundam, and the mecha genre as a whole and it has influenced many areas of my skillsets whether storyboarding, animations, assets, or writing-wise.

Fun & Fish

Fun fact: A lot of nano-fish commonly sold are schooling fish. Which means they generally need 5+ buddies to be happy. My mother, surprised me on Christmas with the 3 gallon catalyst of that lesson, and an introduction to the fascinating and somewhat expensive hobby of fishkeeping. Because when two White Cloud Mountain Minnows perished in a too tiny tank, it was only natural for me to spend the following months deep diving into video after video of tank requirements, the nitrate cycle, and filtration. 4 years later, and 100s invested, the minnows in the sky can rest knowing that the ones now in my care have grown from 9 to 29.
