What is TNL?

Thunder and Lightning was a program that ran from 2023-2024 based inside of the game WWE2K23. Twice a week, community submitted wrestlers would be matched against one another for fictional titles and storylines crafted by the founder and four others, including me. Produced as a simulated wrestling league, entertainment was given through the storylines crafted through input from the community aligning with our own storylines. Think of a man who has been fighting for the past months to earn a title only for it to be taken away unceremoniously; how broken that would turn a person. Two opponents who, no matter the stipulation, would accidentally and comedically force a draw, not a win. The aftermath of a long established stable falling apart at the seams. Manipulating and editing the game, we crafted week-to-week storylines that culminated in a big send off show at the end of the fiscal year.
